From Darkness Toward Healing

At a recent Shabbat gathering, 13 Jewish guests joined us, most of them not believers. After lighting the candles, we discussed Joseph's life and what it teaches us about trusting God through injustice and suffering.

One man, attending for the first time and initially very sceptical, shared afterwards that Joseph’s story deeply touched him. He said it stirred his heart to consider forgiveness and prompted him to reconnect with a friend he had been estranged from for years.

Others shared how these Shabbat gatherings bring peace, comfort, and joy into their lives. Some are carrying grief, others loneliness or unanswered questions about God. Step by step, hearts are opening.

For many secular Jewish people, this is the first time they are hearing about the faith of Israel’s forefathers-and discovering that God is still speaking today. As we share the story of Israel, we cannot separate it from the story of God. Every life is part of His redemptive plan.

From Shabbat to Shabbat, from heart to heart, we continue pointing people to the One who carries our pain and offers genuine hope – Yeshua the Messiah.
