How We’re Responding in Israel

How We’re Responding in Israel

When missiles fell across Israel in June, life changed in an instant. Streets emptied. Families sheltered in fear. Buildings were destroyed, including some of our staff’s homes, partner ministries, and congregations. The trauma of war swept across the land. Yet, in the midst of crisis, God has opened doors.

At Jews for Jesus, we believe that moments of greatest darkness are best met with the bright light of the gospel. And in these uncertain days, our teams on the ground in Israel are responding, not just with aid but with presence.

Our Israeli staff are not outsiders or short-term visitors. They are local believers – neighbours, friends, and leaders – embedded in their communities and uniquely equipped for such a time as this.

Here’s how we’re responding in this critical season:

  • Distributing care packages to families who have lost everything in recent missile strikes

  • Supporting local congregations and believers whose homes were damaged or destroyed

  • Ministering at bomb sites and emergency zones, offering prayer and spiritual support

  • Providing ongoing spiritual care to those grieving and searching for hope

  • Building partnerships and providing help to Jewish and

  • Arab believing communities, strengthening the body of Messiah in the land

This is not easy work, but it is faithful work. As the situation continues to shift, so do the needs. And with God’s help, we’re responding as fast as the doors are opening.

Please continue to pray for our team in Israel. Pray for their strength, safety, and wisdom. And pray that many Jewish people – amid the rubble and uncertainty – will find true peace in Jesus.
