Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is perhaps the most important and sacred day on the Jewish calendar. It was established in Leviticus 16 and reiterated in Leviticus 23:26–32.
It was the only day the High Priest was permitted to enter the Holy of Holies—the innermost place of God’s presence—to make atonement for the sins of the people.
For us as believers in Yeshua (Jesus), Yom Kippur points to the ultimate atonement made by Messiah Jesus, our High Priest, who entered the heavenly Holy of Holies by His own blood (Hebrews 9:11–14).
Join Jews for Jesus Australia for a meaningful Kol Nidre service on the eve of Yom Kippur led by Bob Mendelsohn.
This one-hour gathering will include traditional liturgy, prayer, and a special message reflecting on God’s mercy and the atonement we have in Yeshua.
