Michael* is an elderly Jewish person – a truly kind and gentle soul. I met him for the first time recently, and we soon found ourselves deep in conversation about God and the importance of trusting Him, especially as we grow older and begin to consider eternity. We spoke about how one can be certain of their future with God and shared the hope we have through faith in Jesus. We invited Misha to come for Purim to the local Messianic congregation and to celebrate with us. As we continued talking, he shared that he had actually given his heart to God through Jesus a few years ago, but since then, he hadn’t been part of a congregation. With an open heart, he agreed to pray with us. He followed the prayer, rededicating his life to the Lord. It was a beautiful and moving moment. We rejoiced together, filled with hope that one day, we will be reunited in heaven.
