I have known David* for a little over a year. He comes from a small, remote area of Siberia and has lived in Australia for over 20 years. David enthusiastically welcomed the announcement of our regular Shabbat meetings, Hebrew lessons, and Bible studies, but could not bring himself to attend them regularly due to his social phobia and claustrophobia. Having stayed away for a few months, David returned, happy to reconnect with us. Since he was still struggling with public gatherings, I met with him one on one and shared about Yeshua — that He is the Jewish Messiah, and that fear and phobias are not from God, that this is not God’s plan for his life, because God wants to give him freedom. David did not respond immediately but allowed me to pray for him. Nothing seemed to have changed outwardly, but from that moment on, David allowed me to call him on a regular basis, answered all of my phone calls, and made it to every Shabbat meeting. Then David admitted that he would like to come see the church we attend. And today, David came to church. Nothing is impossible to God! Please pray for his continued progress and spiritual awakening!
