Israel's Independence Day was one of the most anticipated events in our Jewish community and ministry, and it did not disappoint.

People came with joy, bringing food, stories, and open hearts. From the very beginning, there was a sense that something special was happening: a community still forming, yet already real and alive.

That was the highlight. It became a place where new friendships were born and old ones deepened. Around the table, with a glass of wine in hand, there was laughter, honest questions, and wise counsel shared freely. Conversations flowed naturally—from lighthearted jokes to deep, meaningful discussions about life and faith.

There was a genuine sense of unity. People listened, encouraged one another, and even began inviting each other to future gatherings. Questions about faith were welcomed, and each response, whether certain or searching, felt like a step forward.

I have no doubt that we are on the right path. With God’s guidance, this is only the beginning—and we will see good fruit in the days to come.
