Every Wednesday, I make time to visit a long-term friend. We often talk about spiritual matters, interspersed with music as we both share a background in that field. Last week, another friend joined us – and inevitably, our conversation turned to the tragic loss of 14 lives at Bondi. Both of my friends lost people they knew, and I had lost a friend. It was a sobering and emotional moment for all of us. Shortly afterward, another friend joined us and shared that a family member of his had been injured and is currently recovering in hospital. I was grateful for the opportunity to offer words of comfort, listen to their concerns, and help them process the grief and confusion surrounding these events from the biblical viewpoint. Would you please pray for those affected and their families?
